Theatre and Film – one of the largest in Canada – includes the opportunity to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in one of six different areas of study: Acting and Directing, Design, Drama in Education, Filmmaking, Playwriting, Stage Management or Production. The Department also offers a BA (Honours) in Acting, Directing, Design, Playwriting, and Stage Management and Production. Your coursework will encompass a full range of practical and theoretical study, and will prepare you for an exciting career in the arts.

Collegiate Performing Arts Program
Discover the difference and the advantages of The Collegiate’s new Performing Arts Program beginning September 2014 in partnership with the prestigious Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts (MCMA) and the renowned Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB). The Collegiate's music programs will share space on campus with the MCMA in the newly renovated historic Bryce Hall, part of a harmonious partnership giving students access to studio practice spaces, free performances, recitals and workshops, and discounted theory and masterclasses.
English Language Program at the University of Winnipeg
UWinnipeg's English Language Program (ELP) delivers high quality programming to international and domestic students seeking to enhance their English proficiency. ELP offers a certificate program for those seeking to teach English as an additional language to adults, as well as customized programming and private tutorials — including communication coaching and workplace communication skills enhancement for internationally-educated professionals.
