Balmoral Hall is the only school in Manitoba to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program for students in Nursery – Grade 5. The programme enriches the Manitoba curriculum with a global focus and an emphasis on trans-disciplinary skills. Students are engaged in an inquiry based program that is designed to foster the development of the whole child. Girls are provided an education that gives them a wealth of knowledge and experience from international schools, built on a relevant and engaging educational framework for all children.
At Balmoral Hall School, our goal is not simply to teach an enriched curriculum. Our programs are designed to inspire girls to excel, to reach and to lead. Our teachers understand how girls learn. We offer a varied curriculum that enhances and exceeds provincial requirements and prepares young women for successful post-secondary education and future careers.
Our comprehensive program includes traditional academic areas, athletics and arts education. Students have the opportunity to learn new languages, to express their ideas creatively through the visual and performing arts, and to develop a healthy lifestyle through our athletic program.

International fees cover the academic programming at Balmoral Hall School, including Advanced Placement Program (AP) for Grades 11 and 12, athletic and art programs, textbooks, novels, school agendas, portfolio binder, art supplies, school publications, and yearbook. Individualized English as an Additional Language (EAL) and curriculum support are included, accommodations and boarding, all meals and snacks, transportation to and from airport and for approved extracurricular activities, membership to the Winnipeg Winter Club (a private recreation, sport and fitness facility). In addition to the above and included in the fees is the cost of the basic School uniform, International Student Health Insurance, Parent Association membership, the non-Manitoba residence surcharge, and the Tuition Refund Insurance plan.
