Language Courses in Canada
Often English is called “the language of communication”. Why? Because it seems all the people in the world have agreed to use English to talk to each other.

- 75% of the world’s letters and postcards are written in English.
- Almost all international conferences and competitions are conducted in English. For example, the Olympics and the Miss World contest.
- Diplomats and politicians from different countries use English to communicate with each other. English is the main language of organizations like the United Nations, NATO, and the European Free Trade Association.
Also the best way to understand yourself, your country, and your own values is to immerse yourself among other cultures and people. Only then will you be able to begin to distinguish the differences. This is easy to do in Canada. Every year hundreds of thousands of students from almost every country in the world choose to study in Canada. These students, plus other immigrants who move to Canada, make Canada a fascinating and exciting mixture of languages, cultures, and people.
