Our International Education Program includes year-round courses for you to earn credits towards your Ontario Secondary School Diploma, and build toward your entry into College & University in North America. In addition to the September to June immersion into our school system, international students may take part in the TCDSB's Night School and Summer School programs (including intensive summer ESL). Student Applications for the semester beginning in September are due on May 31st. Applications received after this date are subject to availability.
Summer classes are free for students who enrol in 2 full years of study. International students may enrol in both short-term and long-term study programs; however, in order to earn credits, the stay must be a minimum of 1 semester (5 months). Semester 1 runs annually from September to January, and Semester 2 runs from February to June.
Homestay
In partnership with Canada Homestay International and YES Homestay, we provide students with exceptional placement during their time in Toronto. Placements are organized through Canada Homestay International and YES International.
Homestay families are matched with each student based on personality, and on the basis of proximity to school of the homestay family address. International students are welcomed into the home with open arms. They are treated with the same respect and care as a family member to ensure the best possible experience.
Study at the Toronto Catholic District School Board
The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) International Education Program is affiliated with 31 High Schools and 167 elementary schools located across the Greater Toronto Area. We accept International Students from Grade 1-12 and provide a wide array of programs to their needs.
International Students may enroll in short-term programs (ranging from one to four months), half semester programs (five months) or full year study programs (10 months). Semester 1 runs annually from September to January, and Semester 2 runs from February to June.

Students will thoroughly enjoy their time in our city, immersing themselves in the culture, and improving their English language skills while they work towards and Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
In order to guarantee this, our schools ensure academic excellence in English, Mathematics, Sciences, Business and Information Technology, and we even allow students to focus their studies on the dramatic, visual and media arts, dance or music. All of our schools also boast clubs and sports teams designed to excite students.

CAN$ 1,200 – 1,700 per month homestay, depending on the level you require
