The final marks provided by our public schools are used for University entrance, no entrance examinations are required.
Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan is located in Western Canada. The name Saskatchewan comes from kisiskatchewan a Cree name meaning “swiftly flowing river”. Saskatchewan is referred to as the “Land of the Living Skies” with breathtaking blue skies, more than 100,000 lakes and beautiful prairie landscapes.
Homestay
Students studying in the Greater Saskatoon International High School Program may live with a Canadian family that has similar interests to theirs. What a great way to practice their English!
The Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools is pleased to provide homestay through the Canada Homestay Network (CHN), a non-profit nationwide organization that has placed over 45,000 students in homestay since 1995. In collaboration with the International Student Program, CHN locates excellent host families in the city of Saskatoon.
Study at Greater Saskatoon Catholic International High Schools
Bethlehem Catholic High School is our newest school and is located in the western quadrant of the city. Bethlehem currently has about 1100 students enrolled in grades 9 - 12. Bethlehem is connected to the Shaw center which houses an Olympic size swimming pool.
St. Joseph High School is located in the eastern quadrant of the city. With a population of approximately 1050 students throughout grades 9-12, it offers a comprehensive program for students. St. Joseph is ideally located right next door to the SaskTel Soccer centre which houses a full sized indoor soccer centre.
Bishop James Mahoney High School is located in the northern quadrant of the city. There are currently just over 700 students attending and participating in the academic programs in grades 9-12. Bishop James Mahoney is located close to the Sitter School of Dance and the Kinsmen/Henk Ruys Soccer Centre.
Holy Cross High School is located in the southern quadrant of the city. With a population of about 1100 students throughout grades 9-12, it has a wealth of resources available. It has an outstanding record in inter-school competitions. Holy Cross High School provides their students with every opportunity to enjoy a successful academic year.
