Internships Available
All placements in these fields are UNPAID. All fields (except Office Administration, Marketing and Community Service) require relevant education of at least 1-year at the university or college level.

Your application will be forwarded to companies in a field of work and for a specific internship opportunity based on your chosen industry, your work experience, your education, the amount of time you are available to work, the state of the industry at the time you will be in Canada, your English level, your enthusiasm and your presentation.
To be eligible for the program:
• If you are student, graduate, post-graduate, skilled worker or professional, and your English level is at least an intermediate level, and you qualify for the visa required for the program, you may be eligible for the Canadian Internship Program.
• Work permit obtained through the International Experience Canada Initiative ("Working Holiday", or "International Co-op" categories) offered in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Costa Rica, Chile, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Republic of Korea, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
Applicants must have upper intermediate level of English and work experience and/or education in their preferred field of work for their placement
The Canadian Internship Program (CIP) is a Premium Service Program.
Participants are given personalized one-to-one services to help them get a job before arriving in Canada. We will re-write your CV, provide you with private coaching on interview techniques and prep you for your interview. We will forward your job application to employers who are hiring and work on your behalf to help you get job interviews. We have years of experience and we apply all of it to your job search thus making it easy for you to find and secure work. Clients who take the Premium service option and get a job before arriving in Canada benefit from knowing where they will work, when they will work, how much they will earn, and what they will do.
Program includes:
- Personalized assistance in securing an internship placement in Canada before arrival
- One year’s membership in the International Club (Hot Job List), which gives members access to discounts on services, tours and attractions and provides access to assistance from the Program Coordinator any time in the year, during normal business hours
- Orientation session at our offices in Vancouver or Toronto, covering resources available and everything you need to know about working and living in Canada
- Walking Tour of Downtown Vancouver or Toronto
- The International handbook called The Essential Guide to Working and Living in Canada
- Advice and ongoing assistance from International’s Program Coordinator
- Mail holding service, so you have a contact address as soon as you arrive
- Free call number for general questions or emergencies during office hours
- Social activities ranging from pub nights to ski trips in Vancouver and Toronto
Optional Services at extra cost
- English Classes at in Vancouver, Toronto or Whistler. Course options: General English, International Business English, TOEFL, Cambridge Exam Preparation, Private Tuition and English plus programs as golf, mountain bike, skiing and snowboarding
- Accommodation in dorm room at a central hostel in Vancouver or Toronto (includes breakfast, linen, a towel, and a welcome drink)
