Winter Season Conservation Volunteer Project in Lake Louise and Banff National Park
(No Work Permit required, you can come on a tourist visa)
This winter project is located in Banff National Park and volunteers will do conservation and visitor engagement activities in Lake Louise and Banff National Parks and at the Lake Louise Ski Area.
Project group size: 4 volunteers working with a team coordinator each session.
Session Duration and Dates: 4 week sessions. New session starting every month.
Feature of the Project:
Volunteers get free accommodation at the sponsor hotel called Castle Mountain Chalets between Lake Louise and the Town of Banff
Volunteers spend a lot of time helping with big events including world cup ski events, that bring tourists into the park - thus gaining valuable visitor engagement and event management experience
Volunteers get a staff lift pass for Lake Louise Ski Area to ski/ride for free
Volunteers need to know how to ski or snowboard to do this project as some work will be on the ski mountain
Cost for Conservation Volunteer work plus 4 weeks of English
CAN$ 2,915 for 4 weeks of English + 4 weeks of volunteer job
CAN$ 960 for 4 weeks homestay (including food) during the English classes

A few yearrs ago we changed our schools to a Quarter system. We now have 4 intake dates: Quarter 1 - September; Quarter 2 - November; Quarter 3 - February and Quarter 4 - April. The additional intakes will allow additional flexibility for our students.
