Whistler Adventure School soon to open to international students, British Columbia, Canada
The Whistler Adventure School is very pleased to acknowledge the latest announcement from the IRCC concerning opening Canada to International Students coming as of October 20, 2020.
Due to the nature of our small classes, large teaching areas and our focus on the outdoors WAS was cleared to resume our regular class schedule back in June.
Our full year programs of Marketing and Media Manager and Mountain Sport Technician have flexible start months, and we recommend for new International students to apply for a start date of no earlier than November/December 2020 since the new directive is effective October 20, 2020. We recommend students apply for their study permit (with work allowance) as soon as possible as there is still a delay in processing.
Mountain Sport Technician. This program teaches the basic fundamental skills necessary to become a part of the summer and winter outdoor tourism industry. Skill sets emphasized include snow safety, ski, snowboard, trail building, survival and winter camping.
Fee of the Mountain Sport Technician CAN$ 12,500 Tuition Fee International + CAN$ 150 textbook fees + CAN$ 900 Course Material

A few yearrs ago we changed our schools to a Quarter system. We now have 4 intake dates: Quarter 1 - September; Quarter 2 - November; Quarter 3 - February and Quarter 4 - April. The additional intakes will allow additional flexibility for our students.
