    Hello Class Afloat enthousiasts, or those that would like to spend a high school year on the Atlantic ocean. Class Afloat is now at capacity for boys for Semester 1/ Full-Year. There is likely to be space available for Semester 2 from January - May 2015, for boys and girls alike.

    There currently are 2 spots still available for girls wanting to attend the full year or just Semester 1 - and also availability for Semester 2 only.     Four students from LaSalle College Vancouver have been selected by a panel of three industries professional to present at Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW) on March 20th, 2014. Each student designer will be showing their collections, all revolving around the theme “Modern Architecture”.

    This will be the college’s 9th consecutive season as a VFW partner. New this season, acclaimed Vancouver fashion stylist Tracey Pincott is serving as Artistic Director, and she is working closely with the student designers to share her industry expertise.

    Canada's international student enrolment up 94% over past decade

    A new national study on the state of international education in Canada reaffirms the country’s strengthened position as an international study destination. More than 265,000 international students were studying in Canada in 2012, representing an increase of 11% over the previous year and a remarkable 94% increase since 2001.

    “Canada’s international student population comes from countries across the globe, but a few send far more students than others,” observes A World of Learning. “The top five source countries remained unchanged between 2011 and 2012; China, India, Korea, Saudi Arabia and the US, combined, continue to make up more than half of Canada’s international students.”
