  The Edward Milne Community School ECO Academy is an innovative, semester-long program that explores scientific and social issues alongside skills associated with ecology, entrepreneurship, community, and experiential place-based learning. • Canada expands biometric requirements for study permits

  

  Starting in the summer of 2018, when you apply for a visitor visa, study or work permit (except U.S. nationals), or permanent residence you will need to give your fingerprints and a photo. To facilitate repeat travel to Canada, applicants for a visitor visa, study or work permit will only need to give their biometrics once every 10 years.
  
  When you arrive, the Canadian border authorities will check your identity to make sure that you are the same person who was approved to travel to Canada.
