  The Whistler Adventure School is very pleased to acknowledge the latest announcement from the IRCC concerning opening Canada to International Students coming as of October 20, 2020. Due to the nature of our small classes, large teaching areas and our focus on the outdoors WAS was cleared to resume our regular class schedule back in June.
  
  Our full year programs of Marketing and Media Manager and Mountain Sport Technician have flexible start months, and we recommend for new International students to apply for a start date of no earlier than November/December 2020 since the new directive is effective October 20, 2020.

• Update on travel restriction exemptions for international students to Canada

  

  Learning institutions whose COVID-19 readiness plans have been approved by their provincial or territorial government will soon be able to welcome more international students back to their schools.
  
  This change to travel restrictions affects all international students, regardless of where they are travelling from or when their study permit was approved. Travellers should not make any travel plans until they have met all requirements and received all necessary authorizations.
